I recently joined MySpace and a bonus was having the opportunity to communicate with other authors.
I stumbled across a page belonging to Dawayne Williams, author of Reputations Fade Away. What compelled me to visit his site? I dunno. Maybe God led me to scan Dawayne's page. Other reasons, I'm a native Washingtonian, I love to read, and I'm dying to read DaWayne's story.
The excerpts boasts a story of a man who was snatched from the hands of the enemy: The streets.
When you open the page, the soul-stirring voice of Marvin Sapp resonates in your spirit. "Never would have made it...," he sings. This intrigued me even more. And then there's a photo of a innocent looking young man, who has a story to tell about a past history of crime and how the merciful hand of God saved him. I ordered my copy and I've guestimated that it'll arrive NLT Thursday -- just enough time for my weekend reading.
I'll let you know what I think.
